Here's a great recipe for your baby bird. It has all the nutrition needed for any growing bird. Things you'll need: Jarred Baby Food....preferably fruit flavored Instant Cream Of Wheat Smooth Natural Peanut Butter Microwaveable Pet Food Dish Tablespoon Put about 3 ounces of fruit flavored baby food into a small microwavable bird food dish. Add 1 tablespoon of instant cream of wheat, and stir to mix thoroughly. Add 1 tablespoon of natural smooth peanut butter and stir thoroughly. Heat in the microwave at 50% power for about 30 seconds. Stir and let cool to the touch....and serve to your bird. Tips & Warnings: You can use whatever flavor baby food your bird likes best. Applesauce, Pears, and Plums seem to be my parrots favorites. My parrot is 19 years old and still loves this meal. Always make sure that the mixture is cooled to warm or room temperature before serving.
