Sandy, my cat, used to have seizures, until the vet found out she had toxoplasmosis. Now, she is prescribed phenobarbital to control her seizures. Otherwise, she is mostly a normal cat. I first found her outside in 2007 on my porch before I walked to the bus stop for school. She was just a kitten back then. My brother put her in the house and called my mom, who was at work at the time, and my mom planned to find her owner. When our neighbor came over to talk to my mom about something, she told us that Sandy was her cat and that we could keep her and her other cat. We were unable to take the other cat, however. I think the neighbor ended up just purposely letting the other cat out the door to get rid of him/her. I'm pretty sure that's what she did with Sandy, too. Sandy is a tan tabby who enjoys stealing food off of her humans and generally being lazy most of the time. She does enjoy playing, however, when she's in the mood. Sandy hugging Angel: NOTE: Not all cats are guinea pig-friendly.

That is such a terrific picture.....so very sweet to see the two of them together. I love cats and guinea pigs....use to have two piggies named Spike & Penny. They were the sweetest little critters, and my bird Watsie loved them too. We sure do miss them!

Wow that is really great that the cat and the guinea pig are such good friends. Just goes to show you that it all depends on how you raise them. Great pictures.

Angela I don't quite understand why you are trying to make me look terrible for trying to raise a little money to help with the expenses of looking after all these animals that keep moving in with me. Could you just turn animals away, if they were very hungry??? I wish you would explain to me what I am doing wrong. I am NOT asking for money for myself. I live on food stamps. So I have food for myself. Just need food and vet expenses for the animals. I thought you supported shelters and homeless animals.
